Sun-dried copra, slow-pressed in a wooden chekku at low temperature. Unrefined, unbleached, and filtered only — nothing added, nothing stripped. Just the aroma and taste of real coconut. Some oils are made fast. This one isn't. We start with mature, sun-dried coconuts sourced from farms in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The copra goes into a traditional wooden chekku that turns slowly, generating very little heat — so the oil keeps its natural aroma, colour, and the goodness that high-speed steel expellers and refining tend to burn away. No chemical extraction. No bleaching. No deodorising. No preservatives. The oil is simply settled and filtered before it goes into your bottle, which is why you'll sometimes notice a faint cloudiness or a mild sediment at the bottom — that's how unrefined oil is supposed to look. Below 24°C it solidifies naturally. Place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes and it turns clear again. Perfectly normal.
